improve readability of indentation

Hi guys
I love this app.
Still, one thing is really bothering me. To explain it, below, I'll just use characters to replace "spaces" and "buttons" (like the ones to fold or unfold a list).
So "-" is for space and "<> for a button. Then "[_]" is for an note. Please bear with me, it's not that complicated.

So, when I want a list, this what I logically want to see:

[_] Note one
----[_] item 1
----[_] item 2
----[_] item 3
--------[_] item 1
--------[_] item 2

In this example, each item is under one another if they are in the same level; but "item 3" actually contains two other items. The indenting allows me to see, in one glance, the locical happening here.
Now, with your app, here is what I see:

<> Note one
----[_] item 1
----[_] item 2
<>-[_] item 3
--------[_] item 1
--------[_] item 2

Only one difference: I have an icon telling me that I can unfold "item 3". But this pisses me off because then I tend to think that "item 3" and "Note one" are on the same level, although they are not...
Look at one the guys from Omni did with their outline app. It's ugly but works.
Your app design is great; your app UI needs some improvement I think...

I really like your app. Please consider this.
